The Origin of “Betty Beader”

Betty is more than just a name—it’s a quirky story that captures the spirit of my work. We have an old, well-loved SUV in the mountains known as “Betty Beater,” our go-to vehicle for skiing and outdoor adventures. One day, after returning from the mountains, I found several bead packets in the mailbox. My husband joked, “Wow, now I have a Betty Beader at home.” The nickname stuck, and it became the perfect moniker for my jewelry creations—infusing every piece with a sense of fun and personal meaning.

A Little About Me

On the personal side, I’m married with two awesome kids, five fantastic grandkids, a dog, a cat, a variety of fish, a jungle of plants, and countless birds that visit our garden. We love spending time with family and friends, traveling, kayaking, and embracing the great outdoors.
